Savoring the Flavors of Amelia Island: A Culinary Adventure at Salty Pelican

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Salty Pelican, a charming seafood restaurant nestled by the ocean breeze and boasting stunning views of historic downtown Amelia Island. As soon as I sat down in the two-story open-air venue, I was immediately drawn to the menu's selection of fresh seafood dishes, and I knew I was in for a treat.

One dish that stood out to me was the Lobster Roll. As an African who loves seafood, I'm quite picky when it comes to lobster, but this roll was simply divine. The chunks of lobster and chives were a perfect match, and the side of plantains added a delicious touch of sweetness to the meal. At first, I had my doubts about the flattened plantains, but I trusted the waitress when she assured me that it would be okay. And boy, was she right!

After satisfying my appetite, I took a leisurely stroll across the tracks to enjoy the beautiful sunset and watch the seagulls fly by. I even managed to capture the moment with a selfie with my best friend, Nate, and we both left with happy bellies and big smiles on our faces.

If you're looking for a place to dine with a spectacular view, then Salty Pelican should definitely be on your list. Have you been there before? If so, what's your favorite dish? Let me know in the comments!
